Success Story
Soon after getting married, my husband and I purchased a small hobby farm. What better way to share our new-found space than with a dog in need. In our hearts, only a shelter/rescue dog would do.
Just a few days after beginning our search on sarniahumanesociety.com, we came across Jack's profile - a 4 month old black lab/cross. Since it was after hours, we immediately sent an email advising that we would come to the shelter after finishing work the next day. Well, it was puppy-love at first sight. We took him home a few days later.
It has been three years, and Jack is just the best addition we could have asked for. He absolutely loves our baby girl, and he has many canine friends.
