Success Story
Buttons was adopted 4 years ago-- second dog from the Sarnia Humane Society. Buttons is now the brother of Zipper- a shepherd lab adopted 11 years ago. Buttons is a purebred yellow lab and has developed a great relationship with Zipper. Zipper calls the shots and Buttons usually ignores her. The next minute they are kissing each other and chasing squirrels in the backyard. Both dogs are the most lovable animals and I couldn't bear the thought of not having them!! They each have very different personalities- Buttons is the rebel who comes up with many silly, yet creative things to do to keep him occupied. Zipper usually gives him the "evil eye" and tries to teach him right from wrong! I feel sorry for Zipper- such a daunting task!! I would encourage everyone to adopt through the Humane Society and give these wonderful animals a warm and fuzzy home!! Barbara
