LOCAL YOUTH MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Even though shelter volunteers must be over the age of 14, there are plenty of ways for the younger generation to get involved with The Sarnia & District Humane Society. Take a look at some of these wonderful stories of Sarnia Lambton kids making a difference here at the shelter.

Ava

10 year-old Ava went door to door in her neighbourhood and raised money for the shelter with some of her friends!

Danielle

Danielle raised money by doing a cleaning job and donated it to the shelter!

Chelsia

Chelsia collected toys, treats, and donations for the shelter animals, rather than gifts for her 7th Birthday!

Hunter, Lukas & Clark

Hunter, Lukas & Clark donated the funds from their lemonade stand to the Humane Society, along with their birthday money!

Rain

Rain wrote original poetry and with the help of her friends Cree & Taryne, sold the poems around her neighbourhood! What a creative young lady.

Olivia

Olivia collected donations for the shelter rather than gifts for herself for her 10th Birthday! This is her second year in a row doing this for us.
